Blue Origin To Launch Biggest Space Crew

Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos’ rocket business, plans to launch six people into space from Texas on Saturday, including the daughter of late astronaut Alan Shepard and ABC News anchor Michael Strahan.

Blue Origin plans to launch the New Shepard rocket on its NS-19 mission from its Corn Ranch spaceport 160 miles east of El Paso at 8:45 a.m. CST.

Due to heavy winds in the area, launch personnel decided to postpone the launch on Wednesday.

Bezos and William Shatner, both 90, were featured in previous launches in July and October, respectively.

In July, Bezos invited retired aviator Wally Funk, 82, to join him for a flight. Those earlier crews were made up of four individuals.
