Chelsea Hit By COVID Ahead of Wolves Match

Two more Chelsea players have tested positive for coronavirus ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to reports.

Ben Chilwell, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner, and Romelu Lukaku all tested positive earlier this week, according to head coach Thomas Tuchel.

Kai Havertz was also sick in the days leading up to Thursday’s match against Everton, but Tuchel announced on Friday that the forward had tested negative.

Two more players have been ruled out of the match at Molineux, according to the Instagram account Cfcnewspage.

As of now, it’s unclear which players have tested positive, but they’ll add to Tuchel’s growing injury list.

When asked if upcoming Premier League matches should be postponed, the German stressed that there was no correct or incorrect response.
