DCI Camps In David Sankok Home After Son’s Death

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have launched an investigation into the death of nominated MP David Sankok’s 15-year-old son Memusi Sankok allegedly shot himself dead.

On the morning of Tuesday, April 3, Narok Criminal Investigations Officer Mwenda Ethaiba led a team of investigators to the MP’s house in Ewaso Ng’iro in Narok County to record statements.

Detectives are now investigating how the MP’s son got the gun from Sankok’s bedroom and used it to kill himself, as well as why he did it.

Currently, the detectives are recording statements from employees at Mr. Sankok’s Osim Country Lodge, which is only 100 meters away from his home.
