Three people have perished in an accident involving a van they were riding in this afternoon in the Miasenyi area of the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
Two tourists and their driver are reportedly dead, but one traveller is said to have survived the collision.
Those who saw the accident claim that the truck driver attempted to avoid running over a cow before losing control and colliding with the tourist van.
The accident occurred just one week after an accident involving three passengers in the Taru area of Kwale county claimed the lives of 20 people.
At the moment, work to remove the bodies of the deceased is still ongoing.
