Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has accused Mr. Donald Kipkorir of publishing defamatory claims against him in documents filed at the High Court in Milimani.
The Judiciary has also been drawn into the legal battle between the two lawyers, as judges have been the subject of offensive and defamatory tweets, which also involve claims of bribery.
Mr. Abdullahi claims Mr. Kipkorir defamed him on Twitter by alleging he was blackmailing Judicial Service Commission (JSC) judges and betraying clients.
Mr. Abdullahi claims Mr. Kipkorir defamed him in two tweets published on March 5, 2022, by linking him to professional misconduct and terrorist group kidnappings of foreigners.
Mr. Abdullahi claims, through his lawyer Omwanza Ombati, that Mr. Kipkorir’s Twitter account published the allegedly libelous tweets in order to disparage him in his profession and business as an advocate and senior counsel.
