A burnt body of a man was discovered dumped on the roadside in Marigoini slums, Muthaiga, in a suspected homicide, according to police.
Police officers who arrived at the scene ascertained that the body had been burned beyond recognition.
A five-liter jerrican was as well found next to the body containing an unknown chemical that could have been used to burn the body.
There was no evidence that he was murdered elsewhere and his body was dumped there.
The body was not identified right away. As part of the investigation, it was moved to the mortuary pending identification and autopsy.
