Acting on reports, police in Nyakach Sub County yesterday, January 8, 2022, detained a suspect in the theft of four motorcycles from Katito Town.
“The suspect led the officers to Matongo Sub Location in Nyamira County where one motorcycle was recovered, another one at Onyuongo Location in Nyakach Sub County,” said The National Police Service.
Further, the security officers proceeded to TurGem Location within Nyakach Sub County where they recovered the third motorcycle.
The suspect is in police custody pending processing and arraignment.
“We thank members of the public for their continued support in the fight against crime,” said NPS.
