A man from Nigeria is now in huge debt just because he couldn’t plan his finances or rather wanted what he couldn’t afford at the time. A friend of his took to twitter (@IrunmoleWell) to share the story to say that his friend earns 34k monthly but went ahead and took a loan of 370,000 to fund his wedding.
The young man really hoped that the people in attendance would gift him cash but he really didn’t get what he expected.
The friend went on to say that the guest in attendance only gifted the groom gas cylinders, plates, spoons and so on.”
The friend went on to say he first took a loan from his office for 230,000 then went took a loan from a bank 143,000 and his office is expected to be deducting 14,000 monthly and so will be the bank, he has done the wedding but he has a huge debt left to pay with no repayment plan and no gifts in form of cash at the wedding.
