89 buses that were used as transport for the National teams and delegations at the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon are reportedly missing.
According to the Cameroonian daily L’Anecdote, the only bus remaining out of the 90 buses put into circulation for the occasion is that of the Indomitable Lions which the team is using for their home games.
This comes barely two months after the closing ceremony of the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations Football played in Cameroon which saw Senegal beat Egypt to win their first trophy.
Earlier, reports claimed that the Cameroon government is yet to pay some workers of the 2021 AFCON before the mysterious disappearance of 89 buses used for the tournament.
