Africa Development Bank Targets Enablers, Women To Grow Economy

The Africa Development Bank Group -Affirmative Finance Action for Women in Africa (AFAWA) flagship initiative is launching Call of Proposals (CfP) from  Enablers, such as women business associations, incubators, accelerators, cooperatives, civil society organizations etc. who play an important role in promoting the development of women-owned enterprises and strengthening them to achieve growth.

The enablers should propose interventions that among other imperatives demonstrate track record in supporting women SMEs in access to finance, strong development impact,  leverage and mobilization of additional funds. The minimum threshold for requesting funding from this call for the proposal is $100,000 and the maximum threshold is $250,000.
