AGRA is working with firms and governments in Asia (China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Vietnam) to boost investments that will support the sector’s access to affordable financing, mechanisation, and seed. This will help to speed agricultural transformation in Africa.
The adoption of machinery, better seed types, and easier access to financing are critical components of KAM’s Agriculture for Industry (A4I) strategic pillar, which this project supports.
In the course of the discussion, it was decided that KAM would keep pushing for a business-friendly climate to encourage these investments and offer business facilitation services to potential investors wishing to establish operations in the nation.
KAM and AGRA will engage further, recognizing the mutual benefits of this collaboration.
