A body of a pastor from Kangundo Sub-county in Machakos County has been found dumped on a farm.
The 43-year-old, AIC church pastor’s body was found in a maize plantation this morning near his residence, with deep cuts.
According to reports from the police in Kangundo and the crime scene obtained by Uzalendo News, the naked body of the Pastor had deep injuries on the neck, arms, and abdomen. His two eyes were gouged and placed beside his body.
The police also claimed that the lower parts of the body had injuries with indications of sodomy.
“We want to confirm to the public that the body of a middle-aged man has been found murdered and left in a maize farm. The body was naked, with injuries between his legs, arms, abdomen, and broken eyes. We suspect sodomy in the body, but for medical analysis, we hope it will give the final results. His clothes, shoes, gouged eyes and broken eyes were found placed next to the body,” Kangundo Police Boss Enock Mose told Uzalendo News.
The body was moved to Kangundo level 4 Morgue, awaiting a postmortem.
Police have called for calm among church members as the murder investigation begins.
