Detectives have launched a manhunt for a suspect in connection with a Ksh 60 million fraud case involving a major bank.
The land fraud investigations unit of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is looking for Ali Noor Abdi, who is wanted for conspiracy to defraud.
According to DCI, the Milimani Chief Magistrate’s Court has so far issued a warrant of Arrest against the suspect.
“The Milimani Chief magistrate’s court has since issued an arrest warrant for him.”
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the #FichuakwaDCI toll-free number 0800, 722 203 or the nearest police station for assistance, according to the DCI on Twitter.
Abdi and his son, Abdi Hamza Ali Noor, who has already been charged, are accused of conspiring to defraud the African Banking Corporation Limited (ABC) Nairobi of Ksh 60 million on various dates between July 1, 2014, and April 7, 2020.
