Alice Ng’ang’a, a Thika town MP, asserts that Raila Odinga was paid Ksh.10 billion to stir disturbance against President William Ruto’s government.
Raila’s efforts to create disorder in the country through large rallies, according to the MP, have been backed by financiers, including a well-known leader whom she would not identify.
On Sunday, Ng’ang’a delivered remarks at AIPCA Thika Cathedral at a thanksgiving ceremony for Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria.
Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi was also there, as were MPs Martha Wangari (Gilgil), Jane Kihara (Naivasha), Patrick Munene (Chuka Igamba Ngombe), John Njuguna (Kiambaa), Geoffrey Wandeto (Tetu), Maina Karobia (EALA), Rahab Mukami (Nyeri), and Anne Muratha (Kiambu).
The MP said that the government is aware of the transaction and has proof of where it occurred, as well as images of the ODM leader and his backers.
She suggested that the financiers come out of hiding and reveal their involvement in destabilizing the government and the country’s economy.
Jane Kihara, her Naivasha colleague, charged former President Uhuru Kenyatta of being behind the Azimio leaders and supporters’ large marches.
