During the arrest of maverick Governor Mike Sonko, a police officer pickpocketed a senior police officer.
The Traffic cop lost a wad of cash suspected to have been proceeds of crime from a roadblock.
He may not have noticed the theft because of the commotion…and also because the cash was not his in the first place.
The traffic officer is yet to report the theft.
Yesterday, the Machakos County Commander Karanja Muiruri warned police against taking bribes.
