Former Treasury CS Henry Rotich appeared in Court in addendum to charge sheet seeking to amend particulars to one the counts he is charged with.

The count number XXIX. Which says that Titus Muriithi being the inspector general of state corporation, knowingly gave misleading report to Adan Abdulla Mohamed.

The misleading investigation report on Arror and Kimwarer Multipurpose irrigation project is said to be detrimental to the Government of Kenya as it faulted the entire Dam construction.

This is a case which costed the Country over 63 billion tax payers money.

Henry Rotich at the time of the report he was the Chair in the finance department of the Country and it was expected that such grave mistakes should not escape his attention and action thereafter to save the Country’s economy.

The former CS was later on charged a fresh with conspiracy to defraud Sh 63 billion in the scandal case.

He faced the charges against other nine co-accused.

Nevertheless, the prosecution dropped the charges against the other nine after they agreed to be prosecution witnesses.
