Thousands of people in the Country over the last few years have parted with large sums of money to conmen posing as legit land sellers.
A similar case suspect was arraigned in Milimani Law Courts charged with obtaining money by false pretense.
The accused person Peter Gitau Ngige is said to have defrauded Peter Njega Muhika over four million shillings.
The offense was committed between October 2018 and March 2019 within Nairobi.
The accused person conspired with others to defraud the Complainant Ksh 4,139,200 purporting to assist him buy a house in plot NO 78/87 Buruburu.
The accused person denied the charge and was released on a Bond of 1 million with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 500,000.
He will appear in Court on 24th January 2022 for a pre-trial.
