Autopsy Reveals Businessman Francis Kiambi Died From Cardiac Arrest

According to an autopsy report released by Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor, late businessman Francis Kiambi died from a cardiac arrest.

Odour stated on Friday, January 13, that Kiambi’s cardiac arrest was caused by a coronary artery complication due to excess cholesterol in the deceased body.

On Monday, January 9, the businessman’s body was discovered at his Karen home.

According to an initial police report, the businessman died after his wife, Mary Waigwe Muthoni, refused to guarantee him a Ksh2 billion loan.

Following their disagreement, the two allegedly went to separate rooms to sleep, only for the 50-year-old businessman-turned-politician to be discovered dead with vomit on his bedside.

After a family doctor from the nearby Karen Hospital confirmed the deceased’s death, the body was moved to the Lee Funeral Home.

Several people, including a close relative and a lawyer, who were with the deceased at the entertainment venue have been questioned by police about the death.

Detectives also questioned employees at Big Smoke Bar and Restaurant, where the businessman and his wife spent time before his death.
