Nasenya has been nominated for the E! People’s Choice Awards, African Social Star category, flanked by other African bigwigs.
The American award program honors celebrities in the entertainment industry who are nominated by their followers and the general public.

Last night, the ecstatic 21-year-old shared the wonderful news on her Instagram stories.
“The support is overwhelming. Thank you, thank you! Someone has just sent me a screenshot from Twitter and people there are doing the most. The same on Instagram and Facebook, the love is overwhelming. Let us bring this thing home,” she said on a clip.
The People’s Choice Awards African Social Star category is dominated by South African celebrities and influencers.
The nominees for the People’s Choice Awards were released yesterday, and in the African Social Star of 2021 category, Boity Thulo, Lasizwe Dambuza, Mihlali Ndamase, and Witney Ramabulana received nominations.
The four are up for the award alongside Zimbabwean comedian Tyra Chikocho, Nigerian musician and actress Falz, and blogger Sofiyat Ibrahim.
