Barca Denies Hunt For Lewandowski

FC Barcelona has denied reports that they are interested in signing Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

With his time in Berlin coming to an end, there had been reports that the Polish striker was looking for a new challenge, which Mundo Deportivo has since denied.

Mundo claims that no negotiations have taken place with the player, let alone a deal for a summer transfer.
The 33-year-old is under contract with Bayern until 2023, and while the Germans have yet to hold talks with their striker, it is expected that Poland forward will leave after this season.

While Barcelona has looked into the possibility of signing Lewandowski, nothing has been confirmed, as Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund is their top priority for the summer.

If Haaland rejects Barça, the team can take advantage of Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, who has a good working relationship with club president Joan Laporta.
