Baringo: Governor Kiptis Defends Track Record

Despite mounting concerns from local leaders and residents that his administration has failed to deliver for the electorate, Baringo governor Stanley Kiptis has defended his development record.

Kiptis claimed that his administration has worked tirelessly for the past three and a half years, with the help of members of the county assembly, to develop numerous projects and give high-quality service to the community.

The governor, speaking at a wedding celebration for North Rift Economic Block (NOREB) coordinator Joseph Makilap in his Maregut community in Baringo North, said that his record speaks for itself, despite opposition from those seeking to unseat him in 2022.

He stated that the county administration was working on the 2021-2026 County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP), which will see more development for residents over the next five years.

He added that it would be embarrassing if he was not given the opportunity to finish the agenda he has set for the people.
