An attempt to cool down an angry 34-year-old man in Muselele, Kilala Makueni turned tragic after the guy attacked his uncle and killed him.
Trouble started when the suspect who was not identified immediately threatened to beat up his sister and grandmother.
The shaken-up granny was forced to escape with her granddaughter to seek the help of his son-in-law.
The son-in-law uncle to the suspect came trying to calm him down not knowing this was his last day on earth.
The suspect jumped on him hitting him severally with a huge stick killing him on the spot.
This incident has been confirmed by Kaumoni assistant chief Patrick Kalui who told the press that the suspect threw the blood-stained clothes into the toilet.
He also lit up a fire to burn the weapon in an attempt to conceal evidence.
However, before he could do so police officers arrived and arrested him.
“It’s in Muselele and he has been troubling the people he lives with. earlier today he chased them and the grandmother called her son-in-law to talk to the man,” said the chief.
“When he came he was killed by the guy, the suspect immediately disposed of the clothes he was wearing and threw in the toilet,” he added.
The body of the man who was killed has been moved to Makueni referral hospital.
