Four motorcycle riders were arrested after police officers manning traffic arrested them for riding with concealed number plates.
The four; Fred Odhiambo, Newton Omondi, Caleb Otieno and Frazen Kichaba were arraigned at Milimani law courts where they were charged with preparation to commit robbery with violence.
The four were riding on one motorcycle registration plates number KMFP 375J with concealed number plates, on 5th December this year along Waiyaki way, in circumstances that indicated they were intending to commit a felony.
They were each released on a cash bail of Ksh 30,000 or an alternative bond of Ksh 50,000.
The crackdown comes after a rising trend in crime by thugs masqueraded as bodaboda riders.
