A public service vehicle has ran over an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) set along the Arabia-Mandera highway killing 10 passengers on the spot.
Witnesses say the explosive detonated right under the bus, which was heading to Mandera from Lafey.
The explosive is believed to have been set by alshabaab militants.
Injured passengers have been rushed to the Mandera Referral Hospital.
