Officers attached to the Nairobi Directorate of Criminal Investigations gunned down the mastermind behind the puzzling Nairobi West ATM heist.
The suspect, identified as Wycliff Vincent Oduor was gunned down in a fierce shootout between a gang of 3 people, in a botched robbery incident at Nairobi’s Kayole estate.
The sleuths were responding to a distress call from the public at Kayole Junction in Nairobi.
The other two suspects are being pursued after they escaped on a motorbike. A Pistol & a kitchen knife were recovered from the slain suspect.
Alias ‘Vinii’ is believed to be the mastermind behind the 72 Million shilling ATM robbery at Nairobi West.
He was out on a Ksh. 500,000 bond after being charged with the offense.
