Bungoma: Man Chops Off Step Brother’s Hand Due To Land Feud

A 34-year-old man from Bungoma County’s Sangalo village is being treated at the Bungoma Referral Hospital for critical injuries after his hand was severed.

Oscar Wafula was assaulted by his stepbrother, who severed a portion of his left hand.

They were fighting over a plot of property.

DCI officials have now initiated an inquiry into the event to determine who owns the land in question.

Wafula appeared to be in discomfort in the hospital ward, having to roll over in bed, a circumstance he claims he did not foresee.

According to Phamenasi Simani, the ward nurse, the patient is doing better than the day he was admitted.

Wafula asks the police officials working on the issue to expedite the inquiry since his life is in danger.
