Two middle-aged men were arraigned in Court where they faced various charges of fraud.
George Warui Gachuhi was charged alongside Allsyter Brian Ojiambo. Both were accused of conspiracy to defraud contrary to the Law.
According to the charges, the two on diverse dates between October 1, 2021, and May 17, 2022, stole Ksh 4.5 million from CA Medlynks Limited.
The said money was fraudulently diverted from the Company’s account to the accused person’s accounts pretending to be in a position to order new products a fact they knew to be false.
Further, they were also charged with stealing Ksh 4.5m on diverse dates between 2020 and 2022, money which came to their possession by virtue of their employment.
Appearing before Magistrate Bernard Ochoi of Milimani Law courts, the accused persons denied particulars of the charges and were released on a bond of Ksh 500,000 with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 300,000.
