Caribbean Brunch Brings Island Vibes to Limuru

Naiposha Gardens in Limuru was transformed into a vibrant oasis of colour, rhythm, and flavour as the highly anticipated Caribbean Brunch took over the serene countryside, attracting hundreds of revellers for a 12-hour celebration of Caribbean culture.

Themed “Tidal Wave – an electrifying celebration of Caribbean vibes riding the wave of freedom, rhythm, and bold expression,” the event brought a taste of the tropics to Kenya with citrus-inspired fashion, infectious music, and island-style cuisine.

Guests arrived in bold hues of orange, lime green, and yellow, perfectly matching the event’s lively Caribbean aesthetic. The energy remained high throughout the day and night, thanks to an impressive line-up of Kenya’s top DJs, including Kaneda, ZJ Heno, Tadgue, Andie, and Spinstar, who kept the crowd dancing non-stop.

The brunch experience was powered by Gordon’s, the world’s No. 1 international gin, which served up a selection of signature cocktails tailored for daytime sipping. Meanwhile, Caribbean-inspired dishes such as jerk chicken and plantains added authentic island flavour to the traditional brunch fare.

“This was my first time attending the Caribbean Brunch and I can confidently say it won’t be my last,” said Joel Williams Onyango, an enthusiastic first-time guest. “The music kept me and my girlfriend dancing the entire time and the food was equally good.”

The event highlights a growing trend among Kenyan event organizers to explore unique locations outside Nairobi, offering fresh experiences in picturesque settings. With its vibrant atmosphere and immersive cultural theme, the Caribbean Brunch in Limuru proved to be a standout celebration of music, food, and community.
