Chinese hostage in Dagoretti rescued by DCI officers

Detectives based in Nairobi’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations rescued a Chinese national who was abducted from his shop by a gang.

The gang, who posed as DCI Officers held the suspect at a home in Dagoretti’s SunTrack Estate and demanded a 1 Million dollar ransom from the victim’s family

According to the DCI, the said criminals who wouldn’t heed to a surrender order.

After a heated exchange of fire with the armed criminal gang, the four were gunned down among them an AP Officer & a Pistol recovered with several rounds of ammunition.

A Motor vehicle make Nissan Tiida Reg. No. KCW 731L also detained. The victim was evacuated safely.
