Ng’ang’a appeared today in Kibera before senior principal magistrate Esther Boke and charged with possession of drugs.
Eric Ng’ang’a was on February 27th, nabbed with 30 grams of bang valued at Sh400 while trying to make his way to Qwetu hostels in Ngara, Nairobi.
Eric pleaded guilty and in mitigation, the young gentleman said that on February 26th was his birthday and was gifted with goodies by his buddies.

“My friends brought me a lot of gifts and among them was the bhang. I didn’t know what to do and as a result, I decided to take it to a friend who lives in Kwetu hostels the following day,” said Nga’ng’a.
According to the police files, Erick was a first time offender and therefore attracted a lenient sentence. In her verdict, the duty magistrate ordered March 26th, 2020 the young man be brought back to court for the pre-sentencing report.
