Authorities in Nairobi are investigating an alleged assault involving a Vietnamese woman who claims she was attacked inside a karaoke bar in the Kilimani area by a group of Chinese men.

The woman told Uzalendo News that she was kidnapped from a high-end Galaxy KTV entertainment venue in Kilimani. She alleges that she beaten before being forcibly bundled into a vehicle by five Chinese nationals to Lavington.

According to her account, the sexual assault began there, with the assailants physically attacking her, tearing her clothes, and subjecting her to further abuse using sticks and pepper.

She was rescued by DCI officers who returned her to her boyfriend. Subsequently, she was taken to Nairobi Women’s hospital for medical examinations and later reported the incident to Kilimani Police Station.

Details surrounding the attack remain unclear, but police officials confirm that a formal complaint has been filed.

Detectives have vowed to conduct investigations, including reviewing surveillance footage, hotel records, and gathering witness testimonies. Forensic and medical assessments are also underway to verify the victim’s account.
