A manager of a fast-growing company in Nairobi risks sacking over her robbery case in the company.
Rachel Wahu Mwira Kamau, a manager at Neoman styles limited, was arraigned in court today and charged with stealing Ksh 789,401 from the said company.
It is believed that Miss Kamau on diverse dates between January 28 and March 22, 2022 while at prestige plaza in Kilimani within Nairobi being the manager of Neoman Limited stole the said money which came to her possession by virtue of her employment.
The charges were read to her before chief magistrate Micheni Wendy of Milimani Law courts but she denied particulars of the offense.
The defense counsel pleaded with the court to release her on a reasonable bail term stating that the accused is out on a police cash bail of Ksh 100,000 and she has since been cooperating with the investigation officer.
The court in determination reinstated the police cash bail and she was released on the deposited cash bail of Ksh 100,000.
