Court Awaits Three Sons Who Defiled A Cow To Death

Following their arrest on Sunday for bestiality with their father’s cow, three brothers from Nandi County are set to appear in court on Monday, May 31.

On Sunday morning, residents of Chepterwai village in the Nandi escarpments raised the alarm after a cow was discovered dead near Teresia forest, with blood flowing from her reproductive area.

Kimaiyo Kiyos, father to the three, confirmed that the cow belonged to him.

“The cow was missing in the cowshed when we woke up in the morning. We later found it dead in the nearby forest, just 500 meters away from home,” the cow’s owner, Kimaiyo Kiyos said.

The villagers suspected the trio were under drugs when they carried out the unfortunate act.

Nandi North Police Commander Jamleck Nyangauria stated that the accused were being held at the Kabiyet Police Station.

Bestiality is a felony in Kenya, according to the penal code chapter 63 of the laws of Kenya section 162(b), and the penalty is 14 years in jail if convicted.
