Court charges ‘Fake pilot’ who presented a forged license to fly

A man who is alleged to be a fake pilot has been charged with making a fake KCSE certificate. – By Meshack Makau

The accused had been arraigned before Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku in Milimani Law Courts. He however pleaded not guilty of the charges. Ahmad Nassir was said to have made a fake KCSE document of the 2007 and purported it to be issued by The Kenya National Examination Council.

Nassir was also charged with uttering the certificate to Lt.colonel Amin Ali head of training at ninety nines flying school purporting it to be a genuine document issued by KNEC on July 30, 2011 at the Wilson flying school in Nairobi.

The court heard that Nassir also uttered the certificate to Sergeant Cyrus Ikade purporting it to be a genuine document issued by KNEC on June 6, 2021 at ATPU headquarters offices in Upper hill.

The accused was however released on Ksh. 100,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Ksh. 50,000.
