Court Issues Arrest Warrant Against Four Witnesses In Arror And Kimwarer Dams Scandal

Milimani Anti-Corruption Law Courts Chief Magistrate Hon. Eunice Nyutu has issued warrants of arrest against four witnesses who were to testify in the Arror and Kimwarer dams multi-billion scandal.

The witnesses were expected to give their testimony in relation to the scandal on Monday morning but failed to appear in court under unclear circumstances.

Magistrate Eunice Nyutu noted that the four witnesses are public servants and ordered that they be arrested and produced in court.

The hearing of the case has so far been adjourned to September 12, 2023.

Two weeks ago Former CS Peter Munya failed to testify after the prosecution said that they had no questions to ask, thereby dropping him as a witness.
