Arsenal club reprimanded four players David Luiz, Alexandre Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe and Granit Xhaka have been for breaking government lockdown rules. – By Gerald Gekara
The club said they have contacted the players after videos emerged of the four flouting government guidelines put in place to safeguard against the coronavirus outbreak.
Pepe was filmed playing football with friends in North London, Xhaka and Luiz met up at a park in Southgate and Lacazette was photographed talking to his car valeter on his driveway.
“We were concerned so we have spoken to Nicolas who shares a house with a number of relatives who were involved in this game… We have reminded him of the importance of everyone following the guidelines.” Arsenal said.
