Sports Cabinet Secretary Amb. Amina Mohammed has been summoned for skipping a Senate committee meeting.
On Thursday, the CS was to testify before the labor and social welfare committee to explain why an audit of the FKF accounts was ordered. Amina did not show up.
Instead, she wrote to Speaker Kenneth Lusaka on Tuesday, requesting a seven-day postponement of the meeting.

The CS stated she would get the FKF inspection report on Thursday and would need time to review and comprehend the contents of the report.
Members of the committee chaired by Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja were incensed by the letter and the CS’s absence.
They charged the CS with showing contempt for the committee and Parliament in general.
