A vehicle in the security convoy of Health CS Aden Duale was involved in a road accident in the Otonglo area along the Kisumu–Busia Highway on Sunday.
The accident involved a matatu and a tuk-tuk, and preliminary reports indicate four people in the tuk-tuk were injured.
According to a member of Duale’s security team, the accident involved one of the security vehicles accompanying the Cabinet Secretary.
The officer confirmed that there were no casualties reported from Duale’s following the incident.
CS Duale himself was not involved in the accident, and he is safe. He has since traveled back to Nairobi.
Duale had attended Health PS Ouma Oluga’s thanksgiving ceremony in Rarieda, Siaya County, on Sunday.
The event was graced by President Ruto and brought together leaders, residents, and supporters to celebrate Oluga’s journey in public service and his recent appointment in government.
