CS Karoney Bans Physical Title Deed Applications

Beginning Monday 21 June, Kenyans seeking manual land services will no longer be assisted.

Title Deeds and searches will be processed using the recently launched Ardhi Sasa online platform.

Lands CS Farida said in a statement all land matters will be transacted through ARDHISASA portal.

“No transactions will be done physically beginning Monday 21st June. Only those with e accounts will access the services,”Karoney said.

All Kenyans, starting with land owners and buyers in Nairobi, will now be able to perform land searches, apply for title deeds, sell properties, and almost any other activity involving land, with the exception of resolving disputes, at the touch of a button.

Land registry systems under the abolished land registration laws will be merged into one within the next year.

All titles obtained under the repealed laws being revoked and replaced with titles issued under the Land Registration Act, 2012.
