Interior CS Prof Kithure Kindiki on Friday presided over the National Government Administrative Officers ( NGAOS) graduation.
The third cohort graduated after completing paramilitary training at Administration Police Training College, Embakasi.
Kindiki warned the 448 assistant county commissioners against involving themselves in politics lest they lose their jobs.
“We will not expect NGAO officers to participate in extrenious activities including politics. Leave politics to politicians,” Kindiki said.
“We shall not ask you to do anything else apart from what is defined in your role,” he added.

He said that all ACCs will be provided with vehicles to facilitate their role in overseeing of government policies and programs.
Prof. Kindiki correspondingly called on the NGAOs to work in tandem with security agencies in their respective regions to ensure that the imminent rollout of CBC Grade Six, KCPE and KCSE examinations proceeds without any hiccups.
“This national exercise is continuing and I want to ask security agencies to be vigilant and cooperate with the Ministry of Education to ensure that we deliver successful examinations,” he said.
