The Lake Region International Development Conference aims to encourage and promote talks on development concerns in the Nyanza region.
Among other topics of relevance to the region, the Lake Region International Development Conference will concentrate on the Blue Economy, irrigation, climate change, youth, gender, agriculture, ICT, tourism, sports, culture, and the arts.
Adopting an ecosystem strategy that fosters shared visions, involves all stakeholders, and creates platforms and communities for innovation is necessary for counties that are focused on development, in order to make it easier to involve both the leaders and the community at large.
Fortunately, successful strategies for changing government services, communities, and enterprises are beginning to be adopted by most counties which are aiming for digitalization and development, to improve efficiency and transparency in the county government offices for better services and growth of their communities.
