Police are looking for a drug trafficking suspect who escaped as he was being escorted from Mathare mental hospital to Buruburu police cells.
The suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment after he developed withdrawal symptoms while in the cells and began to ooze a white substance from his mouth.
After being treated, he was escorted back to the station, but while on Rabai Road, he began to vomit, forcing the officers escorting him to stop, during which he allegedly jumped out and vanished.
One of the officers fired into the air in an attempt to force him to stop, but it was in vain.
