The suspect’s motorcycle later collided with the pavement, and one of the thugs managed to flee by plunging into a stormwater tunnel while the culprit was captured.

“During interrogation, it was determined that the suspect, George Ngugi alias Choku, had been arrested in 2011 for criminal preparation and was freed on cash bail,” the agency stated.

During questioning, it was determined that the suspect, George Ngugi alias Choku, had been detained in 2011 for felony preparation and freed on cash bond.

According to detectives, the defendant was caught again in 2012 for the same offence and was in possession of narcotics.
