Divided Jubilee NDC On Despite ‘Rebel’ MPs Threat

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta is today expected to lead Jubilee Party Members on a National Delegates Council meeting at Ngong Race Course, Nairobi county.

The same NDC strongly opposed by the rebel Jubilee faction led by defacto party leader Sabina Chege and EALA MP Kanini Kega.

Speaking during a prayer meeting in Isiolo County, Sabina Chege insisted planned meeting would be treated as a political gathering.

“There will be no NDC on Monday. What will be going on is a political gathering. Nothing passed there will be binding”. Sabina said.

Sabina went on to blast Uhuru Kenyatta for clinging on to the political party despite being out of office.

Kanini Kega on the other hand, asked Uhuru to stand down and recognize them as the leaders.

As this was going on, event planners were busy mounting tents and lining party flags along the driveways of Ngong Racecourse.

The meeting according to insiders will decide on the fate of rebel leaders who have been nominated into positions and have now switched their allegiance to President William Ruto
