DJ Fatxo Off The Hook; Jeff Mwathi ‘Murder’ Case Takes A Twist

DJ Fatxo’s legal team led by Dancun Okach says that DPP has recommended for an inquest into the death of Jeff Mwathi who was found dead at DJ Fatxo’s apartment in Kasarani.

Okach stated in a press statement on Wednesday that the DPP wanted the case to go to an inquest.

“We represent Lawrence Njuguna.” DJ Fatxo is a well-known name in the music industry.

Since the untimely loss of his friend Mr Jeff Mwathi, our client has been at the centre of intensive and detailed inquiries by the Directorate of Criminal Inquiries, adds Okach in the letter.

Okach expressed his delight that the genuine viewpoint he has always advocated and defended about his client’s innocence has now come to light.

He stated that the DJ is grateful to the DCI and the DPP for maintaining high standards of professionalism, independence, and focus in the face of clearly orchestrated public and social media machinations to twist the truth and spread extremely damaging outright defamatory lies.

“We are happy to state that we now know that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has indeed applied itself to the matter and has agreed with the findings and recommendations of the Directorate of criminal investigations to wit. it is clear that there is no single shred or iota of evidence to suggest any remote criminal culpability by our client or suspicion thereof.” said the Lawyer.
