Richie Spice Music Career

Born and raised in Jamaica, Richie Spice gained fame in his country in the mid-1990s and graced popular shows locally and in Europe. During this period, he also curtain raised for Rita Marley’s (Bob Marley’s wife). This opened more doors for his budding Reggae music career. Richie Spice then rose to global stardom in the early to mid-2000s with hits such as Brown Skin, and Gideon Boot.

The 2010s were also a good run for the Youth Dem Cold Rel Bad star’s career. He achieved more commercial success with classics such as Free, Mama, and Mother of Creation to mention a few. Throughout his career, Richie Spice used music to address social and economic topics as well as express his musical and lyrical creativity.
