Doctor James Mugo Ndichu, alias Wairimu, will be sentenced tomorrow in a rape case.
Mugo was supposed to be sentenced on Tuesday, but Milimani chief magistrate Micheni Wendy said the Judgement was not yet ready.
Mugo is also charged with operating an illegal medical facility.
In his defense, Mugo requested that the magistrate acquit him due to a lack of evidence.
He claimed that he never met the woman who claimed he raped her at his clinic.
He was charged in 2015 with raping a patient and other counts of operating unregistered clinics.
In an attempt to clear his name, he gave an unsworn statement in which he denied ever using the alias Mugo wa Wairimu to operate any medical facility.
