DP Gachagua: Ichung’wah Tries To Intimidate Ruto And I Because He Schooled At Alliance

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Wednesday trolled Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah for allegedly trying to intimidate President William Ruto and him, despite being his seniors, because he went to Alliance High School.

“I also need to reconcile with Kimani Ichung’wah because he has not been very nice to us. He was in Alliance High School and any time we are at an occasion and he is given the opportunity to speak because the President and I went to schools no one wants to talk about, he tries to intimidate us despite being his seniors,” Gachagua said during the National Prayer Breakfast at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi.

Gachagua, a Kianyanga High School alumnus, went on to warn Ichungw’ah not to underestimate him, claiming that he had managed to persuade an Alliance Girls High School alumnus, Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi, to marry him.

“But my brother, Ichung’wah, please have some respect. They say Alliance people are tough but I went to that Alliance of yours and managed to convince a girl to be my wife. Between me and these guys who went to Alliance, who is more superior?” posed Gachagua.

However, Senate Speaker Amason Kingi, another Alliance old boy, defended Ichung’wah, claiming that the “Alliance girl” had actually wooed Gachagua into love.

“Because she does not have a right of reply, she whispered to me to go set the record straight. According to Dorcas, she is the one who wooed him into love, not the other way around, so again, Alliance wins,” Kingi said to laughter from the audience.
