DP Gachagua Moves To Deputy President’s Harambee Annex Office

Deputy President Rigathi Gachgaua has taken over the Harambee Annex office previously held by President William Ruto.

Ruto served as Deputy President for ten years before being elected President in the August 9 elections.

The president will now relocate to Harambee House, where his office is located.

In a facebook post on Monday, Gachagua said that he is ready to carry out his duties as second in command.

“We are now ready to work and change our country’s trajectory towards recovery. I have settled at my new office at Harambee House Annex and it’s all systems go,” the post read.

He also thanked staff at the Deputy President’s office for providing him with the necessary briefing as he settles.

To kick off his journey, Gachagua also held a prayer session with religious leaders.

“I thank the senior staff at the office of the Deputy President for the very exhaustive brief and the assurance of them being efficient in running the office and service delivery to the people of Kenya,” he said.

“I thank our Bishops for taking time to bless the office and commit our work to God as I help President William Ruto in managing the affairs of our Great Nation,” he added.
