Drama as Police officers arrest Somali National moments after leaving Kahawa Law Courts

There was drama as officers attached to Starehe Division arrested a Somali National just seconds after leaving Kahawa Law Courts where he is facing charges of obtaining Kenyan Registration by false pretenses.

Abdirizak Mohamed Hassan who allegedly is using poxes of Eastleigh Business Community to commit various offences here in Kenya, was arrested amid his protests outside the Court after police officers arrived at the Court where he had another pending matter armed with a warrant of arrest against him from Makadara Law Courts in Nairobi.

The accused, Abdirizak Mohamed Hassan was charged for illegally obtaining Kenyan registration by presenting forged documents at Mandera North Sub-County Registrar of persons on September 2020.

He is also charged with giving false information to a District Registrar of Persons, Mandera North Sub-County in order to procure a Kenyan National ID.

Further, he is alleged to have been found unlawfully present in Kenya.

The prosecution alleges that the accused on November 10, 2024 at Eastleigh in Nairobi County, being a Somali National was found to be unlawfully present in Kenya.

According to the prosecution, at the time of arrest, the accused person did not have any valid permit or pass allowing him to stay or remain in Kenya.

The case will proceed on January 14, 2024.
